READ ENC’s second celebration of World Read Aloud Day included many community partners including Pitt County Schools classroom read alouds, whole school read aloud events, and two public events held at Sheppard Memorial Library and Barnes & Noble in Greenville.

An afternoon celebration open to the community, including read alouds and crafts, took place at Sheppard Memorial’s Children’s Library and was coordinated by Children’s Staffers, Amber Winstead & Kristin Hill. An array of guest readers shared books with an audience ranging from babies to adults. The afternoon guest slate included:
